London Underground

The Underground nearest to London Fields is Bethnal Green (Central Line) followed by a short bus ride to Mare Street. Other options are:

  • Highbury and  Islington (Victoria Line) and catch a 277 bus to Graham Road
  • Liverpool Street and take a 242 to Graham Road
  • Angel Islington (Northern Line) and take the 38 to Graham Road

  • National Rail

National Rail links are available from Hackney Central (10 minutes walk) or London Fields (1 minute walk).

London Buses

There are ample Bus Routes that go to Mare Street (the main north-south route) which is less than 5 minutes walk away from the east side of the park:  Route 304855106236, 254, 277 and D6.
The 394 bus actually travels around the park along Richmond Road, Lansdowne Drive and Westgate Street.

From Graham Road (the main east-west route) north of the park there are the 38, 242 and 277 buses stopping at Greenwood Road, 5 minutes walk south lead you to London Fields West Side (next to the Lido).
And at the south of the park by Mare Street at the Westgate Street bus stop there are the 26, 48, 55, 106254, 388 and D6 buses less than 5 minutes from the park and the popular Broadway Market.
A new 817 route runs  hourly Monday to Friday  clockwise  between  Homerton Hospital, Clapton Park, Lower Clapton, Nightingale Estate, Ridley Road, London Fields Lido and Hackney Town Hall.

Click here for a 'spider' map from the Transport for London website centred on the park.

Parking
The council in Hackney does not encourage parking. There is very limited
parking for cars and high fines for illegal parking in this part of London.
